Trumpet Practice Exercises

Picture
Practising consistently outside of class time or our lessons is an incredibly important part of our development as musicians. It's when we work out all the kinks in our playing, and establish the good habits we need to be strong on our instrument.

No matter what instrument we've chosen, the key to success is in establishing
accuracy, consistency, and precision in our playing.

And just like when we're practising for our favourite sport, it's important that we have a routine in place to help keep us on track, strengthening our muscles gradually without causing injury.

Every day, I start my playing with a 5 step routine I call my Daily Five Warm Up.

Click the button below to see the exercises it includes, and also learn more about what aspects of our trumpet playing it helps us develop!
