How to Play My Instrument

The first step to being able to play our instruments is to learn how to actually put them together.  Click from the instrument links below for step by step videos created by retired band teacher Kevin Hamlin.  These will show us how to assemble our instruments, and provide important tips to help with posture, technique, and developing good habits.

-Trumpet  -Trombone  -Flute    -Clarinet  -Alto Saxophone
-
Tenor Saxophone   -French Horn   -Euphonium/Baritone   -Tuba

Once we have our instrument together, the next step is to create a strong, consistent sound. Click the links below to watch a video explaining how to do so for each type of wind instrument:
-Brass Instruments (Trumpet, Trombone, Baritone)
-Reed Instruments (Clarinet, Saxophone)
-Flute
