Online Links and Resources

Click the icon to visit different websites I think are useful to us musically

Picture
Soundcloud: A very cool site where musicians upload and share recordings they've made. Sign up and use it to post your own musical creations. Check out my soundcloud as a starting place!

Youtube: So at this point we all know Youtube, but we don't always think of it as a learning tool. It's an incredibly useful source for us for finding online lessons, recordings, videos and so much more. Start by searching your chosen instrument and see where it takes you...

J.W. Pepper:  This is an online score library, which is great for finding practice recordings for sheet music in both jazz and concert band styles. See if  you can find the charts you're working on in class by searching the song name and arranger!

Fine Tuning Repair: One of the important aspects of playing an instrument is also maintaining our instrument. Regularly cleaning our horns is crucial to keeping them working and sounding as good as they can. But when our horns get REALLY dirty, or have a problem we can't fix ourselves, it's best to take it to a pro. This is the local shop that I use and they do a fantastic job for a fair price!

Music Theory Games and Lessons: Understanding the theory behind music can be one of the most frustrating and challenging things. This is a super fun way to learn more, and test our knowledge through interactive activities that let us see and hear what we're learning, as we're learning it!
